I have tried to search for this issue and maybe just did not use correct words. forgive me if this is a multiple post and i am sure it must be, just can't find it.
The Inst. clusters were recalled on these but mine is past the deadlines. I have found several vendors who will replace all lights and gauge motors/senders with a wty for 1 yr to lifetime. Costs range from $30-50 for one issue up to $200 or less for a full rebuild. Happy to share what I found. We all need these clusters to work, obviously and they are problematic in these vehicles. I thought several of you have used a reputable rebuild vendor that you might suggest? 2003 Tahoe. tks:emotions122::emotions122:

Apparently dr speedometers out of Michigan is good to deal with. Also there are members on here who can do some work on these as well.

Thank You Gentlemen,
I did find your comments Scotty Boy after further review of the site. Not sure how i missed it but I had searched under every word I thought it would come up in and no luck. I am an old wrench and can solder with the best of them but just don't want to do it twice, if I screw it up. The Lifetime Warranty From Dr. Speedo In MO. sounded good to me for a $180 or so price tag, given that he replaces all the little motors and all the bulbs. THe other sites I found offer 1-5 year warranty and similar pricetag. Sad that GM let this go for 3 years or 4 knowing the importance of the cluster and then refused to solve the problem, except for a small window, knowing that it was bad from the beginning.
I'll relay back to the forum upon receipt of my repaired cluster.
