I have a 2003 2wd Chevrolet Tahoe with the 5.3 in it. I went to start it about a week ago and it would not fire. It would turn over, and act like it would start and then die immediately. When this happened, the interior lights would not come on, the power windows and door locks would not work, and the radio would not turn off. I had it towed to the shop and they replaced the battery, which seemed to fix the issue. I drove it daily this past week with no problems. I went to start it again tonight and it wouldn't do anything. No door buzzers, no interior lights, no power anything, no radio, and it wouldn't turn over at all. I am going to call the dealership tomorrow, but any advice tonight would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I'd start by checking the grounding points...maybe when they installed the battery, they moved a cable just enough to get make a connection for a short while?

It sounds like you're battery is being used while the vehicle isn't on or isn't holdiing a charge. Did you try jumping it? If it starts that way then its probably a problem with the battery (short somewhere).

Hmmm my guess it's a bad alternator or connection.....and not charging the battery.
