2003 Tahoe questions

Hey guys, thinking about a 2003 LS 4.8 2wd. Can I tow and 4900lb boat with that 4.8? What would you expect to pay for a real clean 150k 2wd hoe?

Any suggestions on some inexpensive mods (lowering kit, wheel suggestions)? Not sure how long I will keep but would want it to look somewhat cool without breaking the bank for a little while.

Of course it will tow it, won't probably be breaking and land speed records while doing it but is should do fine!! I use to tow my jet boat (about the same weight) with my old 94 V6 Toyota 4 runner, and it towed it pretty good for being a crappy motor!
