Her BF also commits atrocities against GM vehicles. Oh and before you ask, no he wasn’t speeding at all

HOLY $HIT BATMAN!!

Yeah I find it hard to believe this happened during a normal dry sunshining day, in a 4cylinder truck
, with 32” tires. Without excessive speed or being under the influence of something potent. He was the only vehicle involved and cut 4 palm trees completely in half. His battery ended up across the other three lanes of traffic and unfortunately…. I mean miraculously he was ok.

Let us know the horsepower and mpg differences if you do this. I was thinking along the same lines earlier this year.

My buddy needed a part today so while I was at O'Reilly getting that for him, I grabbed a set of them plugs. At $5 each, I'm not even gonna try to shop around and risk getting counterfeits. I had the guy grab an NGK Iridium (or Iridium IX?) like what I'm running now so I could compare the size and fit. Honestly, I'm not expecting feeling anything. I guess I could try advancing my timing a miniscule amount and watch for knock. I was gonna throw 'em in when I install that alcohol sensor. But I should wait and get baselines once all that's done and settled. Really, there's probably not much room left in the timing to be worth messing with. I'm still not so qualified to be messing around there. Baby steps.

Back in the early LS1 f-body days, we were running TR6's as they were a bit colder plug...at the time, we thought heat soak was going to be an issue and did all sorts of whacky things. I want to say that was the plug of choice for the nitrous guys, too. Been considering TR55's for my Tahoe just for fun. I'm fairly stock, so not sure TR6 would benefit any?
