What’s up guys

Have a situation I’m hoping someone has some experience with

A few times in the last 2 months when shifting into reverse the truck feels like it’s in neutral. Putting it in park and then reverse again fixes the issue every time.

When did the tranny fluid and filter get changed? Does it do this hot or cold? Any DIC lights on?

I’ve only had it a few Months haven’t changed the fluid/filter. But the fluid looks alright still pink. No lights on either.

Sounds like issue with shift cable slipping.

I’m going to find a transmission guy and have him look at it.

Just happened again yesterday.

This is a total of probably 5 times in the few Months I’ve owned the truck.

When I put it in reverse truck feels like it’s in neutral. Each time it was corrected by shifting out of reverse and then back into reverse.

From what I’ve seen so far it only happens after the truck has sat for a few hours.

Otherwise the transmission shifts perfectly fine in all other gears.

No lights on dash

Fluid is still pink no burnt smell

Does anybody have any insight into what could be going on here?
