2004 Tahoe AWD

I just bought an 04' Tahoe with AWD, has 115,000 miles on it. As of now i plan on changing the front and read diff fluid along with the transfer case. I am also going to change the plugs for preventive maintenance. It needs front brakes for sure and will need shocks soon. Is there any other preventive maintence items i need to take care of right away?

What fluids does everyone recommend?
What spark plugs?
What shocks has everyone had really good luck with?

No its all time AWD. I did not notice there was a separate section. I was wondering why everything posted was newer. Thanks for the heads up.

You must have the BW4482 T-case. Those aren't very common. Do you have three buttons to the left of your steering wheel?

Its highly advised to use AC Delco Autotrak II transfer case fluid on any GM transfer case. You can use other stuff, but theres really no reason to. Auto Trak can be found for a reasonable price.

I personally used schaeffers #293 75W-90 for both diffs. Since Denali's have a tendency to eat their front diffs alive, I spent a good amount of time researching what oil to use. The all Denali forum highly recommended schaeffers oil. It has a special additive (Moly I think) that really sticks and climbs up the gears. After the change, my front diff felt like it drove smoother and it really quieted down my rear.

It is rather pricy but thats just the nature of the game with full synthetic though. Realistically, Amsoil, Redline, RP, Lucas, Castrol etc.. will do just fine. Use whatever you prefer, I just had to give my lol.
