2004 With Low Oil Pressure

So it had good pressure when you test drove it, then it failed just after?

I had a sending unit go bad in mine, but it read Full pressure (like 80 psi). It was noticeable when I turned the ignition to on, with the engine off, it read 40 psi.

Good luck. I hope they fix it properly.

Just picked up the tahoe from the dealership. The pickup tube had a crack in it. They put a new one in and the pressure is up to 40 at idle. The tech said everythingelse looked good. Best of all "No Charge!"
