Hi guys. I am new to the site and looking for help. I am looking to replace my old speakers and am looking for recommendations. I have been reading this car has a separate Subwoofer and am looking to replace myself. I am looking for good quality and am on a budget of $200. Is this possible? I'd like to hear good bass by replacing what is already there. Any recommendations? Thanks

Trey

Welcome to the neighborhood!

I know almost as much about stereo stuff as I know about giving birth. But there are plenty of members that do know and will chime in to help.

Welcome to the club. You won't get much for $200. You can get a couple of sets of decent speakers within your budget, but i would leave the sub alone if you aren't going to amp it. Check out Sonic Electronix or Crutchfield. Read the customer reviews on the products in your price range and go from there. I had Polk speakers in my '02 avalanche and liked them. I think they were DB651's or something like that. Anyway, start with some decent speakers and then work your way up. You can always amp them later on or if you get an aftermarket head unit that will help too. Let us know what you decide.
