2005 chevy tahoe 4x4 5.3L (Clicking Sound)

this Clicking Sound is driving me nuts!!! It comes and goes, it sounds like it's coming from behind the dash or below the dash. comes and goes in cycles each click is apprx. 2-4 minutes apart.
When I turn off the engine i get a triple click sound that comes from the ignition area where the key is located....in that area.

Does anyone have or had that same problem??????

same thing here occationally, has to do with HVAC. Turn that off, it quits....now why, I have no idea.

I've been told that a few times but even if I dont turn it on it does it.
