I just picked up a 2005 Yukon Denali about a month ago, lowered a bit and has aftermarket wheels/tires (22"). Everything seems to be working good, and the ride isn't too rough except I thought going over speedbumps might be a bit smoother but nothing major.

The service tire monitor warning is constantly displayed, which is fine as my tires have enough air in them. I read that this can be caused by aftermarket wheels and/or tires.

This morning I wake up and go to work, and when I start driving I notice a service ride control warning come on.

Also yesterday the sensor for airbag was saying to be serviced as well, but then it disappeared.

Is there any reason I should go get this checked out, or do you think these are just results of a bit of modifying the vehicle?

Did you put tire sensors in the new wheels?

You probably have an issue with the compressor or air shocks if you are getting that error.

No idea on the air bag.

The service right control light is more likely on because of the lowering kit. The system can be finicky when lowering if it isn't done exactly the right way. You could take it to a shop or a dealer for them to read the code, then we can help you determine what the issue is.

The service tire monitor is probably mad because either the sensors are missing or one or more of the sensors is dead.

As stated above...do you new wheels have TPMS in them?

'SERVICE RIDE CONTROL' can come from many things......PLEASE just take it to a dealer or a shop with a Tech II scan tool to read the computer and tell you what part is malfunctioning.......there is another member on here who does not heed our advice is very frustrated and just 'throwing' parts at it to try to fix the issue.

There are also many threads about this topic...I know I made a few of them with good info ;)

Air bag light--no clue--maybe a fluke or signs of a weak or dying battery....
