All, looking to install a Pioneer AVH-P8400BH head unit into my '05 Denali. Description on Crutchfield says it's a modified fit: Cut out the metal rear support bracket to make room for your new receiver.
Has anyone ever cut this metal rear support bracket out to make their units fit?
Also, I recently had the stock headunit replaced, under warranty, because some of the bulbs were out. When listening to music with the new headunit I noticed quality suffered a little. When I fade between the front and rear speakers the rears have no lows, only highs. That's not normal, right? I wonder if it's an issue with the headunit or Bose amp. I didn't notice the difference between the front and rear speakers before.
Thanks.
