Tried to find a video. I'm surprised that as many of these that are out there videos for things like this aren't easy to find. I would like to remove the running boards preferably as a unit with brackets and all so I can do some rocker panel repair. Best way to do this and what size are the bolts? Being a Denali it has extra plastic pieces/body kit so I'm not sure how that affects things.

Each bracket goes to the frame rail and I think are 13mm bolts. Yours may attach inside the wheel well front and back but all that takes is removing a few of the clips or bolts and removing the screws. Put something under it for support and do the wheel wells first to prevent twisting. Give the brackets a fresh coat of paint or rust preventer while they’re off.
