2006 xl denali radio replacement questions

my 2006 yukon xl denali has the factory nav radio with remote 6 disc changer, the shop said the disc changer wont work anymore, which is fine, but i was wondering if there is an insert or storage cubby that will fit in the hole where the disc changer is. would be nice instead of the dead changer

I have looked and never found one. I agree it would be nice to have. I can always use more storage.

the stereo shop doing the install said its a gm part, an hes seen them before, we will see what i can find, ill try to keep the post updated

I have only found one for the 99-02 model years, nothing for the newer ones, kind of given up at this point

I used a single DIN pocket from Metra. Served its purpose. Dont remember the PN.
