I have a 2006 Yukon Denali AWD. When I first start my Yukon, everything is fine. When I am in drive and I turn the steering wheel for the first time, a grinding noise starts in the engine compartment. The high pitched grinding noise fluctuates with the throttle and gets worse when I am accelerating through a turn, and can be felt as a vibration through the gas pedal and brake pedal. I have replaced the power steering fluid, but the noise still exists. Tis noise happened a few times intermittently, but now it happends every time I drive now. If I am stopped at a stop light, and I push down ******* the brake pedal, I can change the pitch of the grinding and feel it through the brake pedal.

Sounds like something is up with your power steering pump, your Denali should have the hydroboost brakes which is power by the PS pump, so the sound coming from steering and brake input points me in that direction. I'm not real sure what you can do about a bad pump other than replace it, maybe someone else will have some ideas.
