2006 Yukon flavors

I just purchased a 2006 Yukon Denali XL. I'm looking online at various accessories and am a bit confused as there are several flavors of the 2006 Yukon. I want to make sure if something I get online will fit properly. Can someone explain the difference between the Yukon, the 1500 and the 2500? Where does the Denali or the Denali XL fit or is it and entirely different beast?

Yours I'm sure will be a 1500, and I believe all denali are AWD. The majority of parts will interchange, but things that won't most times specify denali or not. The front lamps and grill ,stuff like that are specific to the denali and there's suspension/drivetrain parts that are denali specific too due to upgraded air shocks in rear and awd. Anything specific your looking into?

Thanks! I've got a lot of ideas, but we'll see how the pan out. I want to add some protection sure as a hood protector, but I'm also considering a grill guard as well. I plan on getting some weathertech floor liners for the front and a rear camera as well.

I haven't decided on much in the way of engine upgrades, but it will get Royal Purple and I am planning on installing a K&N air filter intake.
