2007-2010 Running Boards on a 2002 Tahoe??

Has anyone ever tried installing running boards from a 2007-2010 Tahoe on a 2006-2001 Tahoe? I like the way they look and want to purchaes a set of them and install it on my 2002 Tahoe and want to know (1) if they will fit and if so, (2) how much work does it take to make them fit and lastly, if you have any pix of it.

never seen it done, im sure its not a direct bolt on. But if length is the same anything is possible. Try it out and post a write up, you might start a new craze

oh your breaking my heart man... i cannot find this guy for the life of me and i want to buy a set of the running boards but want to make sure i can install them without too many mods before i buy em...

"The running board on the driver side just bolts on..The passenger is a little tricky because you need to cut the brackets a little. The reason is because the a/c refrigerant lines go to the back compressor on that side."
