I am currently looking at a 2007 Suburban with 105,000 miles on it. I have not done a history check on it yet, will probably do this tomorrow. Looks good. Looks clean as can be. EXTREMELY GOOD PRICE on this vehicle. Will need new tires, no bid deal. How many of you would have any reservations about buying a Suburban with 105,000 miles on it? The only thing I really fear on Tahoes and Suburbans at 100,000 miles is a transmission rebuild.

I would have no issues buying a truck with that mileage on it...... dependent on the service records.

I hope to do a Carfax in the morning. The price is so good (15K).... just seems like there's something wrong.

I whine about everything. Old people do this. :hahano:

But I buy Fords, Chevrolets, Hondas, etc... Just bought a new Crown Victoria and a new Honda Accord. The only disputes ever that didn't result in some type of manufacturer assistance has been with Chevrolet. I can't help it, that's just the facts, plain and simple. If you may recall, even while under warranty, the problem with my Tahoe disappeared ONLY after i diagnosed the problem and paid for the parts out of my own pocket. I told them what needed to be replaced, they said NO. I paid $350 out of my pocket, problem solved. Heck, they wouldn't even pay the $40 tow bill. Now what does this mean.......... it means, as long as I may live, I will never buy another Chevrolet product from the Chevrolet dealer that refused to honor the warranty on my Tahoe. And I will NEVER recommend them to any other person.

There is no warranty on the Suburban I am looking at. So warranty will not become a butthurt issue.

I bought ours with 108k on it 2 1/2 years and have had zero issues with it outside of routine maintenance stuff. Transmission has been rock solid and motor is strong. I did make sure that it had a solid history of maintenance by the previous owner, though. We got a killer deal on hours too. I could sell it today and break even from what I paid for it 2 1/2 yrs ago.

Cool! Hope my luck is as good in this case! :winner_third_h4h:

This will be the first vehicle ever that I have bought with over 40,000 miles on it. I buy mostly new, but the Excursion and Explorer were both slightly used when I bought them. I have no idea why I need another vehicle in my driveways and garages though. It's nice. It's in good shape. Good price. Has everything except the Navigation system. Even has the 2nd row buckets.
