I was hoping that someone could help me find an adjustment for the rear (second row) seat latch on my 2007 Tahoe. It has the power folding 60/40 seats, but right now the 60 split seat won't fold with the power assist or manually. It seems like when I pull the manual lever it releases the latch on the side closest to the door, but won't release the other latch closer to the center of the car. The other issue I have is if I do by chance get the seat to fold up and out of the way, I have a lot of trouble getting the vertical section of the seat to fold back into place when I try to set it up back as a seat. It seems to catch in the same location as my other issue. Any thoughts?

I would look in the latch area to see if there is anything stuck in either of the latches and I would inspect the cables that goes to the latches for the manual release.

I would try one time to oil everything and if that does not solve the problem - relent and take it to the service dept of the local GM dealer in your area.

I would also try disconnecting the power from the power portion and see if the manual release works when the power is disconnected. It could be that something in the power unit is stuck or running and not allowing it to release.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try those things tonight when I get home.
