I have looked for threads on this but I am not having much luck. I would like to get more light output of my Reverse lights. I have tried the LED and I don't see a lot of difference in the light output. I see some of the guys on here have done the HID conversion on them... Just wondering who has done it? How they like it? What Kit they used? Where did they get it from? And some tips on Install? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

sumo has them, hit him up.

On another note, I am running the 6K LED reverse bulbs from v-leds.com, paid $79.99 for the pair. They lit up my neighbors yard next door from my driveway. Ridiculously bright.

The LED's light output do not even compare to my HID's. My friend has a denali with reverse LED's and in comparison to my HID's they literally do not even come close to the same light output. It looks cool... until mine turn on next to it. If you are going for looks LED's bright white is definitely sufficient for that purpose. For actual light output... definitely HID's. I had an extra H11 HID kit laying around so i cut off the factory (or in my case aftermarket G4 LED aftermarket) reverse light (incandescent bulb) and then splice in the HID kit. Took me 15-30 minutes for both of them and it was well worth it.
