2008 Chevy Tahoe LT 1500 Gas.

I want to know if a complete cover is or was made for a 2008 Tahoe LT 1500 gas.
Looking for a Rear Trailer Hitch cover which fits into place with some locking screws.
I have ordered a few and they are too wide and too tall, actual bumper pieces.

I am skeptical that a cover will slow corrosion. The whole underside is in a salt fog whenever it’s driven. It’s getting into all those crevice regardless. Seems to me being able to hose it out readily is desirable.

Thanks. I spray it with silicone weekly after spraying off the salt etc.

Yes, some had them from the factory, they were all a dealer installed item and a GM Accessory.

Funny thing, I was going to buy one and that week saw 5 of them on the side of the road while driving through town, all broken. Needless to say, mine is still not covered.

Since corrosion is a concern, you may want to look into products like Fluid Film or WoolWax. Easy to apply DIY anti corrosion treatments that will be much more effective.

It tried getting a cover for my 07, and the cover (Dorman) did not fit, even though it was specd as the correct one. The cover would not bend enough to fit into the slots on the top and the pins on the bottom. I actually broke the cover trying to 'make' it fit. So, no cover for me.

I have never seen one on a tahoe only the yukon. If you want to protect it spray it down with WD40 before the Winter hits every year
