Are the cats on the y pipe or on the headers ... I just got the truck and its freezing I i don't wanna get under there and start looking around just yet and can't find a diagram anyone have any advise or possible taken this route already?

They're on the headers. Just get an exhaust shop to cut and weld one in place before your muffler

do you live in a state that requires the cats to stay in the factory location??

Gibson doesnt make anything but "shorty" headers which bolt up to the stock y-pipe just like the manifolds do..The amount of $$ and time it takes to put shortys on the hp/tq return is not worth it..

The kooks are long tube style and will gain you the most power..Kooks,American Racing,Dynatech are all the best money can buy and worth every penny ....
