2008 Yukon Denali - weird issue

The fan running after vehicle is shut off sounds like the afterblow function was enabled, which can only be done by a dealer or someone with a two-way diagnistic tool such as a Tech2.

There was a TSB about it. Have you ever taken it in due to a musty smell from the air vents?

Not sure of the TSB #, but the dealer enables the afterblow function on the HVAC system.

This will run the blower fan for a certain amount of time after the vehicle is shut off and had the AC on. It's to help dry up any condensation in the ductwork.

Google "auto evaporator cleaner" and you'll see many options to clean yours.
