Sorry folks, I know this has been asked many, many times but I can't find an answer for my specific issue. So any assistance is appreciated.
Both my brake lights on my Yukon are not working when I depress the brakes. But here are some additional facts.
a) The third light works fine when I use the brakes
b) checked the fuses, all seemed fine.
C) when I press the brakes, the cruise control will disengage
d) when I turn on the headlights, the rear lights turn on just fine. So don't think its the bulbs.
Any ideas? No idea how long this has been happening since I got stopped by a random passer-by. I was hoping it was an April Fools joke but it wasn't. Short of some electrical problem that needs to have a real mechanic look at it, I am not sure what other options I have. Any advice? Thanks folks.
