I have an 08 Tahoe LTZ and want to upgrade the side moldings. Anyone know where to get them at a reasonable price?

Nordstrom's Auto - google them! Got all 4 of mine brand new, pre-painted to my color, and even with 3M tape pre-installed for $150 shipped.

I called em this morning and they are out of the fronts but they have 2 rear's left.. they say they are '09 and that is all they have received up to ever from gm surplus factory. They even said they had never gotten the 2010's in.. Does this guy just not know what he is talking about? I was gonna order the 2 rear's they have left in stock but he can't even tell me what they look like.. Zach did you run into this problem (with the year of the molding)?

Well, 2009 is correct. Did he check to see if he had any front ones for a Suburban or Avalanche in stock? When I ordered I did tell them I wanted 2009 moldings and I got what I wanted so it should be the same for you as well. Online it shows that they have many Suburban front door chrome moldings in stock.

Well they said they don't keep it "in stock" and it is "surplus" and they don't plan on receiving anymore from that GM factory that they originally had it on. They also said they have been receiving a lot of phone calls about it. In your sig pic you have the 2010 Chrome Body side molding correct?

Thats where i got 2010 from... I'm confused because the 2009 tahoe LTZ moldings are ribbed and come out a little in the middle of the molding and is different then the 2010 tahoe ltz moldings are the smooth and rounded/symmetrical.

I did not ask them if they had the suburban or avalanche in stock. I forgot those are the same size as tahoe front doors, i'm gonna have to ask.. Thanks for your help btw!

I am looking for these side moldings also. I have a 2007 LTZ and it doesn't have much chrome. Tried calling nordstroms auto and they don't have any left. I could easily order them from GM at my local dealer, but they are ridiculously expensive. Not sure exactly how much, but they are charging $227 for the rear bumper chrome molding, so I am sure the sides are at least as much.

gmpartsdirect.com will get you all four for 200-300 but they will be un-painted. At the dealer it will cost over $500.

I purchased these parts from gmpartsdirect.com:
15876401
15876402
15876405
15876406

They are the 2007 escalade side moldings. I thought there should be a part that needs to be painted... what I received was just chrome moldings... nothing to paint. Is that correct?

The escalade side molding is strictly a chrome strip. Look below in my sig pic. The one's that I have come on 09+ Yukon Denali's/SLT (with certain packages) and Tahoe LTZ's. It consists of a sleek flat piece that is color matched to the vehicle and then has a chrome strip about a 1" strip on top of it.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but are you saying that all 09+ LTZ moldings have the chrome strip? I see that Nordstroms has a bunch of 09 LTZ rear mouldings in my color but want to make sure they have the chrome strip.
