Hello everyone I'm new to the forum and I had some questions because I'm driving myself crazy . I drive a 2010 Chevy suburban LT 1500 and I'm having a slow acceleration issue I replace the throttle body after cleaning my first one I have a brand new throttle body and I had to get it reprogrammed to the computer and then a mechanic told me that the sensor in the gas pedal went so I recently replaced the gas pedal I'm still having slow celebration after coming from a complete stop. I don't know what it is I need help

So maybe that will square things away. Are you having the knock sensor harness replaced as well, or just the sensor?

I don't know what the "tune" does when the PCM knows a knock sensor is down, but judging from watching my knock sensors light up constantly while driving around town (mostly under hard acceleration), I am pretty sure the PCM uses that input as critical data when deciding what to do next.

Maybe when the knock sensor is back up, the PCM will start delivering full acceleration?
