So we were out washing the Tahoe yesterday afternoon, and my wife commented that it will need a new headlamp cover soon. I noted that it's part of the assembly, but yeah, I probably need to grab a pair while they are still available.

Well, this morning I had a look, and while it shows the left side headlamp assembly still available, it shows the right hand unit, and the part the supersedes it to be No Longer Available. Is this true? Does anyone have a line on such parts? Do headlamp assemblies from newer models work? Thanks.

Dang it! Wrong section!! Mods, please move to NNBS general discussion section. Sorry.

You can also get a pair of aftermarket assemblies off of eBay for about $125 shipped. As far as I know, all NNBS Tahoes, Suburbans, and Avalanches use the same headlight assemblies. They're also available individually for about half that price on eBay.

Yeah, I hit another online GM web site, and at least it shows them. Not my usual go-to site, but I ordered the pair just the same. We'll see how much gets back-ordered. :)
