I'm replacing the stock radio (Delphi pn 25966515) with an aftermarket radio. I purchased the adaptor so that I don't have to cut the factory wiring but am struggling to find details on which wire is the accessory power, and the steering wheel controls. I've found details on the pins but the source doesn't list these. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Assuming you bought the cheap harness (no offense, that’s what I use). You need to tap your own accessory into the fuse box.

As far as steering wheel controls, hopefully someone else will chime in for you.

Isn't one of the wires on the original plugs accessory power?

you don’t need to splice into the fuse box with anything permanent. Get one of these fuse taps and go after one of the fuses that turn on and off with the key like hvac control or something. Then run it to the back of the radio

Thanks! From what I'm reading the Yukon needs a separate module/interface for the SWC. Not sure if this is correct or not but the SWC isn't that big of a deal

I’ve never tried. I find myself rarely using my steering wheel control even when it does work

Another note, you may not realized this until you get the radio functional, but you will lose all your chimes like the turn signal clicking sound, seat belt chime, onstar if equipped, dummy lights chimes. A lot of stuff is integrated into the factory radio, that’s why they sell an expensive harness and a dirt cheap one.

Call Crutchfield and explain what you have for a new head unit, and they will advise you on the correct interface unit to have, in order for your SWC's to work properly.
