What is everyone's thought of putting rims off a 2011 Denali on a Suburban? The reason I ask is that today I ran across a pretty good deal on some pretty much new Denali rims on CL for a very reasonable price.

Listing: http://kansascity.craigslist.org/pts/2300777091.html

The ad says they were only on there for a week. Generally speaking I like these rims A LOT!! But then my OCD kicks in and I think that I'd look silly in a Chevy Suburban with GMC center caps. Am I crazy or do you all think the same way? My original intent is to end up getting Tahoe LTZ rims by next spring or so but this popped up so I thought I'd pose the question to the "experts".

Can't you get Chevy caps for them?
I thought all those late model oem caps were interchangeable.
Btw, that is a great price if the description is honest.

I don't think so due to design differences in the different caps.

Yeah, the price is pretty unbeatable which is why it has peaked my interest so much. Just trying to decide if I can ignore my OCD for them or not and ask you experts out there :)

I don't know bud, I'm kinda with ya on the ocd thing ... it would drive me nuts to have gmc caps on a chevy.

Perhaps a little more research on the cap swap possibility is in order to know for sure if it's possible or not. Cause if it is, I'd jump on that deal.

Mmm, I'm not sure.

I was just looking at the chevy accessories site and all their 20 inch wheels have the same cap which goes inside the bolt radius. Meaning that you can see the bolts around the cap after the cap is on. From what I can tell, on the wheels you're looking at the cap covers the bolts. So you'd have to find a chevy cap big enough to do that.

Maybe you can contact the seller on CL and ask them the size of his caps so you can search for chevy caps by size?

Even if it you don't like it after you get them, you know those things with good tires are worth a lot more than $650. I would buy them and resell them just to make a few hundred $$$$. Then you are that much closer to the wheels you want.

That's not a bad idea either. I guess it's really a situation where I can't lose. I've contacted the seller to see if they are still available. We'll see if he replies back or not and he didn't leave a phone number....

I don't see any blank center caps for those in particular, but I did find ones for some esky wheels that may fit. They want too much for them though. I have a spare set of center caps for my wheels, they don't have the bow-tie on them like the oems. I bet somebody makes them, or will in the future.
