2011 HID lights

ok so here it gose... had some left over HIDs from my old car H11s and all so i slapped them on the Tahoe for time being.. they work for except the fact one is 6000K and one is 8000K so a slight blue tint one of of them.. so now i have the Funds to order some so i go to the HIDguys website and order some.. get an Email today saying they are on backorder.. ok yeah, H11 high demand got ya know big deal right.. read alittle more and it says i need a Relay Harness for the HIDs because the 11 Tahoes have day running lights.. i could maybe see this.. but the current HIDs in it now act fine no relay just straight plug n play.. so im wondering am i missing something here? overlooking something? or what..

Also was looking at the Switchback LED blinkers.. they only offer them for the 00-06 Tahoes nothing for the 07-11.. but the have the same blinker bulbs.. so could i get the 00-06 and just put them in should fit right in being the same bulbs.. right?

appreciate if you guys couple double check me on this.. or if im missing something.

I have an H11 HID Kit (35w, 6k, ddmtuning.com) and didn't get the harness and it works fine too. I hear more people get the extra Relay Harness if they are doing two sets of HID's or more (low beam/fog light for example).

You can get those for the switchbacks. He has em and they look great.
