2011 Tahoe intermittant starting problems

Ok so I start the Tahoe and it will shut off after about 2 seconds, I try to start it again and nothing (radio, lights still on). I repeat this about 3-6 times and then it starts up fine. Any thoughts on what this could be? battery volts are fine. Thanks.

Nothing. I start it and it runs but before I can put it in reverse it just shuts off but the radio and everything is still on. I'm trying to think if when I try to start I up again if I turn the key all the way to the off position and then try to restart or if it's already in the second notch position.

Maybe fuel filter or cat?

Check the fuel pressure. Sounds like a fuel pump on it's way out.

yep he's right pump is your problem, fuel filter is internal with the pump

Well I took it to dealership and it was the vehicle anti theft module! Thanks for your suggestions though.
