I own a 2011 Yukon Denali. I'm the original owner and on the steering wheel center Denali logo- the black paint around it has started peeling off to show a silver surface. This bugs the crap out of me and I tried a black sharpie to color it in and then taping around area and plastidip painting it.

Both have come off after a week so I'm looking for a permanent fix. Any ideas?

Sucks that I have have the audio system and engine upgrades all dialed in and this happens..

There are replacement centers on ebay. You need to remove the airbag and take the cover off. I bought a bowtie one for the pickup, I think it ran $20. Thats the only way - GM doesnt sell them. Youd need to buy a new airbag assembly if you wanted it from GM.

I've looked on eBay- it's mainly regular tahoes and bow ties.I need a whole new cover/cap. I've looked on gm parts direct but can not find a part number? Everything in steering wheel but that.

Yeah, like I said - they don't sell that individually. You have to buy a new airbag assembly to get a new center cap from GM.

Or you could just rattle can with some enamel spray, im sure that would last a lot longer than that plasti dip. Only thing is that plasti dip should have lasted longer than a few weeks. Did you clean all the logo good before you sprayed?

I'm not happy with the results- looks like shit to me. I'm happy to drop the coin and replace the airbag cover if I can find one?

Check eBay. There's people who sell the logos that you would have to reattach to your airbag

Thanks- I have checked and don't see the Denali one- I've seen gmc and Tahoe

They will pop up, usually by the same seller, but not often. I wanted to get a Denali one for my Yukon.
