I'm in the process of replacing my oil pressure sending unit, and the booster hose is pretty much right above the socket.

I'm sure I can remove the hose with some persuasion, but how tight is the clamp on the hose on the intake?

I don't want to tear the hose, and of course the tabs on the clamp are facing away.

I believe with the hose out of the way, this will be much easier to replace the sending unit.

I also don't want to break the nipple on the intake.

So it appears the hose nipple is a quick release. Requires a push on the red collar to release the fitting...definitely hard to access.

If anyone has a goto method to share please do so.

I just did this on my 2011 Denali. I wasn't able to get to the clamp, as you noted. But I was able to slowly work the connector out of the manifold.
I had already pulled the manifold and on reassembly left off that rear plastic cover. So I could get to it pretty easily.
Good luck...

I just replaced mine. I did not have to disconnect the brake booster hose. Only the PCV hose and fuel pressure hose. If you will look in the "What did you do to your NNBS today" from this past Tuesday you will see the top side creeper I made.

This is what the connector looks like at the back of the manifold, you have to push the retaining ring towards the engine to pull the hose out. It is a beech to get to, but once you know what you are working with you can do it by feel , good luck.
