Hello everyone,

I need to replace rear bumper cover on my '12 Suburban LT because of a little run in with my trailer and I though I might as well upgrade to the nicer LTZ bumper.
Can anyone confirm that the LTZ bumper with the hitch cover will fit my truck without modification ?
I see people converting to the Escalade bumper so assume this is possible.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick reply guys,

One more quick question:

How does the hitch cover attach to the bumper?
Are there any clips or fasteners I need to buy ?

Thanks

Pre 09 it's two screw tabs and two clips, post 09 it's four clips to make it more secure. Preferably you want to get the later bumper and hitch cover combo, or you can get the earlier bumper and lated hitch cover and cut two extra little holes in the number. Where the holes are they can't be seen.

I think that's right btw as to the number of clips, i can't remember for sure ... but there's def two more on the sides in the later bumper/hitch version cause the earlier ones kept falling off.

Don't forget.. You need the bumper pad and chrome trim piece too. The existing bumper pad will not fit the newer escalade bumper.

I have a escalade esv /burb ltz bumper and hitch cover you could buy off of me fairly cheap!
I could also get the step pad and chrome strip fairly cheap too!
