I thought they were possibly rebranded skf xtracker.. both had the ball bearings and taper bearings I believe..
I went with skf xtracker.. I wasn't totally convinced that its a better design than stock, mine seem to make a little noise on high speed turns from new..so its good to hear yours have held up!
I went with the SKF X-Tracker Hybrid hubs and just had to replace them at just under 60k miles and 3 years on my Suburban. Luckily they have a 5 year 60k mile warranty that Rockauto honored. Not real happy about it though since all of my research said the corvette guys that road race love them. I guess a 3000 lb corvette isn't the same as a 6000 lb Burb... lol
They were pretty crunchy when I pulled them off.
If I have to do them again and they are out of warranty then I will definitely be going with Timken, which was my first instinct, but as usual I am always looking for something better or upgraded when replacing parts which is why I tried these.
