Hi, new member here. I just wanted to ask if anyone has seen any of these. I am about to purchase one. I did not even know they offered the Z71 package on the Yukon XL, nor did almost all of the dealers I contacted. I am just wondering if anyone here has one, or has even seen one. I have googled it, and came up empty. That is saying something. Anyway, for those interested, they do indeed offer them now. It includes the appearance package... chrome grill, tubular assist steps, wheel flares, badging, skid plates, etc. I prefer the front fascia of the GMC Yukon XL vs Suburban, so I was glad to find one. Thanks for any input. Just want to know if anyone has seen one or owns one, and how do they like it? Thanks again.

where did u get this information from? I'm pretty sure that if GMC even thought of making this happen it wouldn't be called a Z71. But if there indeed making them I wouldn't mind one in my garage. Lol

Hmm ...got this from GMC's website through the "build your own" thing:
Off-Road Suspension Package
Includes:
• 46mm high-pressure gas-charged shocks
• A 36mm front stabilizer bar
• Off-road jounce bumpers to absorb large suspension inputs
• Skid Plate Package helps protect the undercarriage from rocks and debris
• High-capacity air cleaner
• Z71® Off-Road Appearance Package with unique front fascia and bright chrome grille
• Recovery hooks (2WD models)
• Front and rear wheel flares
• Tubular assist steps
• Heavy-duty automatic locking rear differential

But I cant say I've seen a yukon with fender flares ???

Yep I'm positive. As a matter of fact, out of curiosity, I went to the GMC website and chose the "build your own" option and it is an option. Go through the process and you will see it as an option. First, choose 1/2 ton>>> 4 wheel drive>>> SLT>>> choose color and wheels>>> mechanical>>> Z71 Off-Road Suspension Package. As you hover your cursor over the pakage, it explains the details. Identical to the Suburban. Awesome. I'm told this is a very recent development.

ETA: There ya go... thanks to the poster before me.

Sounds awesome...do take some pictures when you go see it, I have a feeling that the real thing does not have any fender flares or off road emblems...but im just guessing.

I certainly will. Stay tuned. The vehicle is 80 miles away, so we've been negotiating by phone. I'll post pictures asap.

Z71 package IS available for a Yukon XL. It is a $560 option as opposed to $1585 on a Chevy (18" wheels and tires different front fascia) but it DOES NOT have fender flares.

I work in the car business so I would say I am 99% positive about that.

I understand what you see, I'm just sayin'

I have access to EVERY GM vehicle invoice in the nation and can look up all the RPO codes on the vehicles. Fender flares are part of the Z71 appearance package NOT suspension package and Yukons CANNOT get the Z71 appearance package.

I see what the website says but sadly that is not right. If I am wrong I will eat my words.

Nonetheless, good luck and if you want to know the cost of said vehicle I can look that up for you with a VIN.

**The only way to get fender flares is to add them a la carte, code is B71**
**This is not from the plant but put on by the dealer**

That would be great... the vin # is 1GKS2CE00CR165614

I think I may have them add them for me, like you mentioned. Thanks for the help!

Any idea why they would have that on their website? A friend of minewho is in the car business as well told me that a lot of times the website gets them in "trouble", so to speak. I.E., the website isn't always accurate. I would like to know what the Z71 pkg really includes for a GMC. Thanks again.
