Just picked up a 2013 PPV K9 unit off our govt auction site, wondering if any of you have seen these tricks.

Rear door power windows wiring bypassed to console area, possibly some kind of thermostatic control to lower rear windows for K9 ventilation in warm weather?

Gas charged arm on RR door and remote controlled actuator solenoid on door latch to spring attack dog loose to maim or just used to knock down unwitting victim...

I've heard of the thermostatic control but not the automated door thing.

Pretty cool. I wonder what other features are out there that we don't know about. Got any pics of that ppv?

Needs a bit of work, bumper cover, hood and most of the plastic bits under them, easy fix.Rest of truck has normal smell, wear and tear for a K9 unit. Pulling out most of the wiring left behind but keeping the door popper, I'll just put it on a push button for now. The only thing they forgot to remove was a pair of Federal Signal Rumblers, will be posting them for sale if anyone is interested.

Auto door thing has been around for many years. When the door opens, the puppy knows it is time to bite the bad guy!
