2013 Tahoe Z71- Front Bumper lower piece removal

I am looking for information on how to remove the black pieces that hang below the front bumper on a Z71 Tahoe. They appear to be connected with the wheel well plastic and part of the bumper caps. Anyone that has removed these please chime in.
