2014 aluminum front end?

I saw on Instagram someone converted there 2010 silverado to the 2014 aluminum front end. Has anyone here tried this yet? If so how did it go?

I'm acronym-challenged. What's XFE? We have a stock 2010 Tahoe PPV. Every picture of the front suspension of a NNBS Tahoe PPV has had the aluminum lower control arm.

Xfe is just a tahoe that's on hybrid springs and has the z71 wheels and a few other things I'm not remembering right now
But that's the gist it's get 1 mpg better than a normal tahoe.....lol

But the 2014 trucks have aluminum uppers aswell
