2015 GMC Yukon Denali in all honesty

I just paid $54k for a 2015 with 32k miles,
Is that a decent deal?
Is this a decent car?
I honestly was gunning for a 2016 Toyota Sequoia but due to time constraints brought on by a family emergency I pulled the trigger on it.
I was happy with the trade in value given to me on my 2007 GMC Yukon SLT that turned out to be a lemon, however one person told me you can't really compare the SLT to a Yukon, they were two entirely different vehicles when compared in the same year.
Could use a little encouragement because I'm having buyers remorse now.

I rented a 2016 Sequoia when we were in Dallas last Christmas. I had originally requested a Tahoe but all they had was Sequoias. I can tell you this...there is NO COMPARISON between your Denali and a Sequoia...NONE !!

My new 2016 5.3 Yukon will run circles around the Sequoia plus the added comfort and ride quality makes it a night and day difference.

You made the right choice.

for comparison: just bought a 2013 Yukon XL 2500 (9400 tow capacity) for 46K.

we're pretty happy but we haven't hooked up the trailer yet.

sold our 2005 'Burb 8.1L w/200K miles (12,000 tow capacity) for 10K (it was a beauty)

Seems like a pretty fair deal from what I have seen. Plus the denali has the bigger motor.

I believe you got a decent deal. I bought my used with 17K in April for 61K and i thought I got a good deal at the time. I don't agree that the SLT and Denali are different. They are the same except the Denali has more options than the SLT. It has a better rear suspension, larger engine, towing options built in but otherwise they are the same.

I tested both (Sequoia and Tahoe), the Sequoia was a little dated IMO. You get a little better space in the 3rd row on the Toyota, but the interior feel and comfort everywhere else on the Denali should be a lot better. I think everybody else was right about the engine. The only issue I think about is that it's a GM instead of the reliability of a Toyota.
