Hi everyone!
I'm new here so I hope I'm posting correctly in the forum.
I have a 2015 Tahoe LT. I didn't find current info on resolving pillar covers flapping in the wind so thought I'd ask. This is driving us crazy with noise when driving at any speed. Both sides, all 6 covers are loose and have a crackled finish. They need to be replaced. The rubber gasket type material is also loose and flapping in the wind.

I read in old threads that GM has come up with a better replacement? Can I find the "better" one's online and DIY? Or should I take it to a dealer? What can I do to fix the gaskets ?
Thank you!

See if there is a YouTube video on how to replace. I would do it myself. The parts in stock now should be the updated ones since the vehicle is 10 years old.

I have/had a similar issue, whistles and rattles at anything above 35 mph. Initially, I peeled back the problematic pillar (driver's side, front), filled the channel with silicone and CA glue and "snapped" it back into place. It worked, of course with the sun and elements beating up on it, it's happening again. I was able to find replacement parts on several sites, including eBay and a set was running around 40 bucks. Haven't checked for a while but R & R'ing them seemed to be a relatively simple process.
Good luck!
