Cylinder 7 misfire and now costing a arm and leg to figure out what it is, weather it’s the lifters or cam

.... Or fuel injector. Or spark plug, coil, plug wire. You can save a lot of money diagnosing this before giving it to a shop, by swapping those items over to another cylinder and seeing if the misfire follows. Move one item at a time, so that when the misfire follows you know what the component is. That's where I would start.... In the vast majority of the time that will reveal the problem.
