Hello all, I towed a 5000 lb rv all over the place last year and will do again this next summer. I went to the local Chevy dealer and asked for an estimate to change my transmission filter and fluid. He said all they do is flushes, and that the filter is not a pleated filter of old days but some meshy screen thing. My question to you all is, is this dealer correct or is he full of it?

I've changed my filter once already. It is just like any other rwd gm transmission filter. Not a mesh or lifetime for sure. Can buy one at Amazon fairly cheaply.
