2015 Yukon Denali 8" system

I'm trying to determine if I can add icons to my 8" screen? I don't have the "text" button that the brochure shows me? Also looks like I should have many more icons than I have room for? I mean if we can swipe the screens left and right, shouldn't there be icons filling up all that empty space?
It just seems that my system may be missing icons, trying to figure out how to recover all of those without having to reset/restore the entire system?

I am going into the dealership on Monday the 19th at 2pm CST to get an update for my Intellilink, will keep you posted after that.

You will need to get teh HMI unlock from MVI to add the texting feature, video in motion etc.

Disappointing. Went and paid $85 to the dealership to basically have my battery disconnected. They claim they installed an update, but there is no difference/change. I'm not going to grind this axe much further and leave it to a programming fault when the system was invented.

Again the early 2015's do NOT have texting. If you want that you need to get the HMI unlock from MVI.
