I have a 2015 Yukon Denali. 92k miles. All of a sudden my gauges are going nuts. They’re glitching in and out. Fan on and off - radio works then cuts off. Digital
Dash will just go dark It’s almost like it’s resetting itself. Engine runs but takes a few tries to get it to crank. Had a diagnostic scan by a non dealer mechanic. Showed a body control module error. Had to take it to the Dealer service. Any ideas before they charge me a zillion dollars to fix?? Anyone had this happen. Service guy telling me he’s never seen this in 40 years. They changed the battery- it will crank now at least

You could buy the part at a discounted price, Ebay or Rockauto, maybe install it yourself and then have the Dealer program it. Good luck.

most likely a bad ground somewhere or chaffed wire, but mine was doing this and turned out the alternator was sending 800 millivolt spikes to the bcm and making the ignition go on/off and thereby causing all kinds of issue's with module handshakes. just some info to throw at the tech so he can check the voltage, I think my case was pretty rare though.
