2015 Yukon Denali - iphone / bluetooth issue

Hello - I have a 2015 yukon denali. When my iPhone 5s is connected to bluetooth it makes the phone silent to alerts. When I check my phones connection, there is no "show notifications" in the bluetooth settings. Anyone have a fix for this? Thx

I've been wondering the same thing. It's kind of annoying to not get a message until you actually stop & look at your phone.

All the aftermarket radios I've had in my 07 have done this. Could have something to do with not using/checking your phone while driving

Not problem here cell connect automatic and i have all my alerts.

That's kind of what I was thinking, but there should be an option to turn it off. I won't text when I drive, but I do like to be alerted to when I have an incoming message.

Thats normal, the only people with the show notifications/text messages will be people that bought my HMI programming.

I get incoming notifications when I'm listening to bluetooth or Pandora but not if I'm not listening to something sourced from the phone. I'm pretty sure if you've got FM or XM running that you're technically getting the audible notification in the background but the radio doesn't play it because you're not on that source.
