2016 Escalade Driver door lock actuator issue..?

Hi all,

I just got a 2016 Escalade and I noticed the driver door is not turning on the interior lights or activating the running boards when opened or closed.

I can leave the driver door open and close every other door and the truck will lock on its own.

The cluster does not say the driver door is open when it is indeed open.

The button on the handle works fine to lock/unlock the truck and the actuator does lock/unlock.

Is the actuator internally bad?


& if it is, which actuator do I need?

The GM parts website (which is cheaper than the dealer) lists
Left without passive entry
OR
Left. Literally just left.

My actuator has 7-8 pins I believe.

I believe this is why my radio is staying on once the car is locked as well.

Update, it is the door actuator causing the issues.
