I've had problems with this since I bought this car. I have wired speaker pods (link below) in the kids car seats since they won't wear the headphones. They are wired directly to the headphone jack. On a cold start, they typically always work, but after a restart they do not come back on with the move most of the time. Nothing seems to work to get them back on (restarting the car, restarting movie, unplugging, etc). Has anyone else dealt with this? It's highly annoying.

Have you tried plugging in headphones to the jack to see if the port is bad or if it's defective speaker pods?

Yes, tried that as well with the same issue. The headphone jack just goes dead for some reason.
