While driving my 2016 Yukon 45-50 mph, heard a loud clunk under the vehicle and then the engine redlined in neutral. Came to a stop and transmission engaged again and became drivable so long as I locked the trans into 3rd. Made it to dealer and turns out the transmission clutch hub 4-5-6 broke. Had only 3900 miles when this happened. Thankfully all taken care of under warranty but wondering if I should've requested a completely new transmission. Thoughts?

All things considered...your "NEW" rebuilt transmission will probably receive more inspection scrutiny than a new build would. I wouldn't concern myself about it at all.
