2017 Order

Long time lurker, first time poster. A little back story. I've previously owned a 2015 Tahoe LTZ and after two years of constant issues (too many to count), GM agreed to repurchase the vehicle. So with the repurchase of my 2015 Tahoe, I decided to give GM another shot and placed an order for a 2017 Yukon XL Denali. I was given a Target Production Week (TPW) of 9/12/16 and was wondering what others waited to have their vehicles delivered once they were built?

Congrats! I think my 2015's took about 8 weeks. I am in the same boat as you...2 buybacks and I am thinking of a 2017 after I hear some reviews from drivers like you who know what you're looking for with regards to the "issues." Please keep us updated and I sincerely hope your 2017 is fantastic.

Did you have a vibration issue?

No, that was one issue I did not have. I had the following problems:

-shifting driver seat (5 attempts to fix). Still not fixed
-AC stopped working twice
-Transmission mounting bolts came lose twice, which caused an annoying squeak when driving
-Navigation screen would flicker on and off (5 attempts and still not fixed). The rear backup camera doesn't work when this happens.
-Radio/AC control button lighting would flicker on and off when driving down the road. When this happened it wouldn't let me adjust the radio or AC.
-"Service front camera" message on the DIC several times
-Black plastic trim pieces near the rear doors came off on both sides of the car.

A total of about 12 trips to the dealer.
