2017 Tahoe LS – Liftglass not opening

Got the truck last week and did not check every feature with the dealer.

As I tried to open the liftglass via the button over the license plate or using the FOB, the glass does not open. I do hear a switch or relay actuating inside the door but that’s it.

I went to the dealer and they were all over the place, some saying they did not even think the liftglass even was designed to open.

I double checked in the manual and the feature is there.

Can anyone help me confirm if this is indeed a feature for the LS trim.

Yes the lift glass does open separate from the door. When the button is pressed there is a very audible clunk releasing the glass and the glass pops up a little. Then insert fingers under the edge and lift.I have a 2015 LS.

As above, it's manual, not a powered opening window.

I have the LT and yes the glass is a manual opening after pushing the button on the handle. Only the liftgate opens automatically

On the LS, the lift gate is manual as well.
